HOODLINE LIGHT POD MOUNT - TRANSIT (2015-UP) by VAN COMPASS

These might be great if they fit your year model. I have a 2025 and not only is the plastic hood trim piece different, but the shape required for these metal brackets is also different. I thought I could get around the trim being different but the metal body of the van prevents these being installed. It wouldn’t be hard for Van Compass to update the fitment of these on their website.

I really wanted these to work for me as other versions out there mount to the hood hinge bolts themself and these mount to the chassis/fender bolts.

In their documentation PDF file, they state there are two sections of the plastic end pieces but the 2026 has one continuous piece.

There is also a hidden push pin under the main plastic cowl piece. In order to get to these pins without damaging the, you would need to remove your windshield wiper arms and then the long cowl.

Then the plastic end pieces would need to be modified in a way I am not comfortable with doing, since its' so difficult to fit them and mark where cuts need to be made with the brackets in place.

Unfortunately, they won't accept my return. Hopefully they at least update their product page to reflect these issues on newer models.

They are rigid and dont bounce for my 6" round ditch lights.

Installed with no issues. Vancompass is my go to for my new rig.

Beware! The instruction for removing the trim won't work for 2023 Transits. The new Transit has a new design where the side trim piece goes underneath the big center plastic piece. It's basically impossible to remove the two side pieces without removing the middle piece first. I tried to follow the instructions and ended up breaking parts.
