Improve the ride quality and stance of your Ford Transit AWD with the Stage 4 Topo 2.0 package. This tuned suspension system will dramatically improve your ride quality and our Topo kit was developed specifically to work around the packaging and front CV shaft constraints presented by the 2020+ AWD Transit platform.

Our Topo 2" lift kit includes a precision engineered 0.75" lift camber correction plate, with a tuned coil spring. By engineering the spring length and rate to our specifications we gain 1.25" of lift, with a corresponding increase in compression travel. A 5 leaf mini pack works in conjunction with the factory leaf pack to provide a 10-15% spring rate increase in the rear while lifting the back of the van anywhere from 2.0" to 2.5" depending on vehicle weight. Friction reducing tips on our leaves ensure a smooth, quiet ride. Included rear shock relocation brackets allow for the low hanging factory brackets to be trimmed, resulting in better overall ground clearance under the axle tube.

Adjustable Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust Shocks feature a huge range of compression adjustment available at the simple flip of a large, easily accessed Fast Adjust knob. This allows you to quickly adjust from the softest to firmest settings over a significantly larger range than the competition's smaller adjusters. A larger range of adjustment means the shocks are more effective and adaptable to multiple modes of use.

(Bilstein B6 strut are not included with AWD systems, their added length can cause CV boot failure)

Stage 4 TOPO 2.0 for Ford Transit

I spoke to the folks at Van Compass and boy was I happy I did that. I was looking for a suspension lift of 3-4 inches in the rear. (I have the extended version of the Transit.) It was recommended that I also purchase the longer shackles for the rear leaf springs for an additional 1 inch of lift. I am very happy that I purchased both. I ended up with a 5 inch lift in the rear and 2.5 inch lift in the front. Looks great and I am no longer scraping the tow hitch when going in or out of driveways. The van looks great and I can't wait to go camping. We had a few difficulties during the install, not related to the Van Compass equipment, extending the installation time. It took 2 of us, one being a mechanic, almost 16 hours to complete the job. The pinch weld and plastic modifications for the front tires took about 3 of those 16 hours to complete. And we were working on the ground as well. Overall, I am very happy with the completed product and I highly recommend this project to Transit RV Owners. Kudos to Van Compass for putting a great product together. It has made the van handle much better.

    DIY Install

I followed the advice of Darby, and made sure I had all of the tools to do this install. I found the best way to get the knuckle back on was to sit directly under the strut with my legs out in front, and put the heavy-a** knuckle on my lap. Definitely helps to have someone use a long lever to pull down the LCA, Careful of the Ball joint Boot!!

Install took me about 2 days, as I was taking my time. Be sure to watch the youtube videos from Explorist- very helpful. Also, I was able to fit 235/85/16 Cooper ST MAXX on my 2023 transit with stock wheels and the spacers from VC. There's just the tiniest bit of rub at full lock, but It will go away with time.

    Stage 4

Originally looked at the Stage 3 but after talking with Van Life Customs out of Arvada they sold me on the stage 4. Being able to adjust the rear is amazing. I use my van for work and play. My dry weight is 7800 lbs. without my water system or kitchen unit which normally would call for the light/ mid tune but since I use my Vandoit for work, my payload exceeds 1000 lbs. Setting 1 is great for daily driving but when the wind gets crazy out here in Denver its really nice being able to stiffen things up. Only gripes are nothing.

2021 Ford Transit, Stage 4 TOPO 2.0 system

I want to start off by saying that the products in this kit are quality. The detailing on the 3/4" spacers was beautiful. The install from start to finish took me 8 hours. That's the front coils and rear leaf pack with shock relocation brackets and Falcon 3.3 shocks. The instructions were spot on and very detailed. I have tested this kit on some washed out fire roads and i am impressed. I started my drive to work this am and left the shocks on the "1" setting and had a gust of wind remind me of my need to switch them over to "3" . Switching back to "3" made the van drive firm in the wind and still supple enough for the south 5 freeway in Gorman CA. I have no regrets about this purchase and I am glad I went with this package over the other options. I would recommend the following. (2) 3-4 ton heavy duty floor jacks (one on each side of the tow hitch at rear) and one smaller floor jack to lift and lower the rear axle during leaf pack install. You will need to get the van up pretty high in the back so have a 4x6-4' close by to stick under the rear tow hitch. Also the hub assembly is heavier than it looks and my hand would like some of its skin back. Here is some additional info someone might find useful.

Tools i wish i had for the install:
Long pry bar shown in front control arm image on page 8
30mm socket for lower ball joint. ( I had every socket but this one so i used a 1-3/16)
