Sprinters without a rear step bumper can be difficult to access through the rear entry doors. This step bolts onto the factory receiver hitch without impeding it's use. This is a high clearance step that features no loss of ground clearance all while providing an extra level of protection from inconsiderate drivers who like to get too close to our vans when parking in tight spots.

Rear step NCV3

It fits perfect. Heavy duty. I have a 2017 3500xd 4x4 and this clears and fits everything. Highly recommended.

Solid and affordable step

Put on my sprinter 3500 drw. This step is very easy to install, make sure you have a good metal file in case a spot weld is in your way (that was the hardest part of the install). Not sure what the weight capacity is but it does fine with 250-350lbs. Looks good. Would recommend to anyone that wants a inexpensive step.

Perfect

I should have purchased long ago. This is saving my knees. I installed on my 170” 4x4. Fitment was perfect. Instructions were excellent. Shipping was super fast. Price is very reasonable considering what you are getting and compared to so many other companies that overcharge because it’s a specialty item. Van Compass has earned my business. Don’t hesitate to get this step. The hitch still works and actually looks nicer because the ugly stuff is covered.

Perfect Fit, Easy Install

This step fit perfectly right out of the box. I set aside 2 hours to do the install since most parts take 4x what's listed in instructions. This took less than 20 minutes and no fiddling 'round with unexpected modifications.

I use the surplus time to stumble across another nice tight tolerance: a 12oz IPA can on the step is safe by 8mm from a rear doors opening. If not an engineered feature , it could be!

Excellent customer Service and great product

Mark was very helpful and fair in helping get the step bumper shipped up to Alaska. Quick response time to my inquiry, easy to work with and fast order fulfillment. The install was quick and easy, with excellent written and online video instructions. I'm pretty sure it took me longer to grab the tools than to install it. The step makes a huge difference for getting in and out of the back of the van, it looks great and as a bonus, it is just visible in the backup camera, where the stock bumper was difficult to see, so now I have a better reference for bumper location when backing up. Very happy with this purchase and Van Compass. Thanks!
