REAR HIGH CLEARANCE SHOCK EXTENSION BRACKETS - TRANSIT (2013+) by VAN COMPASS
SKU:3022
Maximize your under axle ground clearance with our bolt-on Transit rear lower shock mounts. We move the shock 2" up from the factory location to protect the shock from harm and improve ground clearance on this low-hanging part of the suspension, the lower portion of the shock mount can be cut off for additional ground clearance. These mounts are compatible with our Transit 2" suspension lift kit that includes a 2" bump stop extension and lift block or 2" mini spring pack. These will also work with Quigley and Quad-Van conversions which have a 2" rear bump stop spacer installed.

The rear shock mounts are one of the weaknesses with the factory design. Had issues with hitting factory mounts even on fire roads that were not that bad. This raises the lowest point of ground clearance on the van. Simple effective solution.
As someone that takes their Transit on Backcountry desert routes in the Mojave Desert, this setup works very will to keep the shocks from snagging on rocks.
The shop that did my lift install did the mounts so the install was painless and super easy. Like handing someone some pieces of paper and then they magically appeared on my van hours later.
I purchased these in fall of 2020 and they have held up great over the last year. I love the extra clearance they provide. They are also an absolute requirement with the new leaf spring kit (highly recommended as well)! I definitely recommend this product and working with Vancompass!
I was wishing this kit came standard with the VC lift kit.
I have a Transit with the VC Lift kit and the rear shocks were extending too far on some off road travel. I could hear the shock hitting its end of extension (clang!).
The installation went smoothly with the right tools (even for an amateur like me).
Instructions were clear.
Torque wrench and cutoff wheel on an angle grinder were essential.
The hardest part was pushing the shock up to get the end up to the new bracket.
Glad to have better ground clearance on the rear shocks.
I was able to put these on along with the Fox shocks in less than 2 hours. They do exactly as described and I am happy I got them. They cam extremely well packaged and seem super durable IMO. Went out over the weekend with some minor off roading and they performed great.
